- 2 punnets of blueberries (125 g)
- 240 ml buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 2 bananas
- 260 g wheat flour
- 90 g oats
- 130 g brown sugar
- 80 g canola oil
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

- Preheat the oven to 190°C
- Grease a large baking tin and dust lightly with flour
- Mix the buttermilk, eggs, banana, sugar and oil in a large bowl
- Measure out the flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and baking soda in a separate bowl
- Slowly sieve the flour mixture into the buttermilk and stir together with blueberries
- Fill the baking tin with banana blueberry batter
- Bake for about 1 hour
- Cool in baking tin for 15 minutes and carefully remove from the baking tin
- Resist temptation and let the bread rest on a wire rack
- Slice and enjoy!
